Terry Kreiter: Recent Sculpture
Here’s what I’m up to: Giving myself a break from bronze. I’ve decided to make some work using mixed media, mostly wood. I wanted to use materials and tools that are completely opposite from my normal setup. I chose to dive in without any real idea of what I would make, hoping for a fresh something. I’m letting them manifest on my bench, with a vague idea that they are “vessels”. I did get a boost recently; one was selected by Phil Linhares to be included in a Small Works exhibit at the Richmond Art Center.
