Short description of the work: It was exactly five in the afternoon - or - Ping Me

For many years most of my sculptures have been small tableaux, surrealistic in nature and derived from music, literature and current events. Suspension of disbelief roams freely during the creative process. With Ping Me there is an alien wrapped around an oil barrel, a flying saucer, a pallet of gold ingots, a water barrel, a ladder from another level, a bug underneath the base and other objects that are there or not there. I was also going to include some work-boots and women’s high-heels but decided not to.

A unique sculpture cast by the artist at his foundry studio, there are no editions or molds made.
